I must wait for it to get darker where I am before I can mod this game properly, also ANY light hitting your screen during a play through

with this mod installed will cause problems, you wont be able to see ANYTHING.

When you use this mod make sure you are in a dark room with NO LIGHT hitting your screen including lamps.

Forget about playing this game in daylight you wont enjoy its effect the darkness is too deep!

I will try to update my progress every day but I cant mod properly in the daytime.

Wait till you see my latest surprise..... above is a picture of some nice looking food on a plate but what's cooking in the pots?

Late last night....I did some cooking.........

SweetFX has an option to darken shadows , you can mess around with contrast too , maybe you can find a point where its not so dark but not so bright

I'm trying to make it so you don't need enb to darken the game. My computer cant handle some of the better enb but I have quite

a few different enb. When I started, I wanted to make the game darker without any enb what so ever but you can still use those

things if your pc can handle them. All I'm doing here is darkening textures to give the illusion of darkness but you will see what I

mean when I release the village. 2 more weeks at the most. I am replacing most textures in the village area but not all.

I'm having trouble with some objects like furniture or rounded objects like skulls & I don't know how to change water for instance.

I would love to make Del Lago darker murkier waters but I don't know how to do this.....yet! Maybe later I can come back to them. 

Also the characters are ridiculous. One of the most irritating things is that no matter where the player goes they have a

spot light on them. At night or even underground the player is always lit up. This is shit. I've tried to darken the characters &

enemies now also but not too much or they would look odd in daylight sections. enb/sweet fx wont help on this matter.

Ashley, Ada Wong, Leon, Krauser & Hunk all have this stupid spot light on them at all times. There will be imperfections

because of this but I am a small modder trying to do something capcom & the entire modding "community" has not done since 2007.

I will bring an update for this game that is different enough to be fun & worth trying out. I just need a little more time because I

started trying to retexture the village area & now there's no going back! Everything I am doing here can be improved by others &

I hope others like yourself will also try to do more for the environment. Everybody wants to change the characters but what about

the floor the walls the environments? No one else will do this , I really don't know why. There are much better modders out there

than me but they are being lazy so I'll step up. This is my effort & tonight I will tackle the church graveyard area. There's only a few

more areas left now I'm almost finished with this thing. Soon....

Different ingredients in different pots....look around see if you can find them...

Hi so this is from last night & my next stop is the swamp area....

Just take a look at the wheel barrow the ganados push around without my mod installed, I dare you....I will give you this one instead I think.

Also I am trying to tidy up some of the candles....some I haven't done but I'll continue to add what ever I can where ever I can.

I wish I could do more for every single item but I will have to leave some for others to try & tackle I just don't have the skills

to change everything because of the low polygon models & the way some items share textures. That 1st rope bridge at the

end of the very first area. Do you know what the texture is that Capcom applied to the ropes? A fucking window in the first

house you enter. I shit you not. The ropes are a wood texture...

By tomorrow there will be more goodies....

I have done almost everything I could for a H.D village area mod, just the Mendez boss fight area left now. Last area....

I will release it by tomorrow night. It wont ever be 100% satisfactory to me but I will give a final check over everything

& release it tomorrow regardless. I will update my credits also as I am using some other peoples mods also included with

my project.
